The mission of pediatric pharmacy is to promote not only safe, but also effective medications use in children through C.A.R.E.: Collaboration, Advocacy, Research, and Education.

The mission of the Pediatric Pharmacy Association at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey is to raise the awareness of and to increase exposure to the world of pediatric pharmaceutical care. 

​Rutgers PPA collaborates with other EMSOP organizations to host educational events relating to nutrition, diabetes, and medication safety at local elementary schools and day-care centers. We also partner with various foundations, such as the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundations and MyGOAL Autism, to raise money and support their research.
